My sister Luchie call this plant: Five Fingers.
It grows profusely in a pot and Luchie had to transfer some of them in another pot until our small house is full of this plant in several pots!
When my dog Sweepy goes around Heaven (that's the name of our place!) and sniffs the newly transferred FiveFingers, Sweepy gets confused and lets out a bark because he knew that this plant was supposed to be in another part of the house. Sweepy resolves this dilemma by leaving his scent on each of the pots! Sigh!
And since my job is to water the plants in Heaven,
I have to wash out ALL of Sweepy's scents as well!
And while watering the plants this week
look at what I found:
Now this does not look like Five Fingers
because I counted SIX leaves!
And when I told Luchie about it
she merely shrugged and said
that there are some with more than 7 leaves!
So why is it still called Five Fingers?

It is very funny to read your story. Five fingers, Sixfingers, Sevenfingers.
How about Eightfingers?

Very amusing last sentence!! That's really interesting to see how tiny and delicate they start out as, as well as seeing the larger plant. I think you did great to spot the six leaf one- I'm still waiting in my lifetime to find a four leaf clover!

Lui, under your watchful eye, can 9 or 10 petals be far behind?

Such lovely images -- I felt like I could see the plant growing in front of my eyes! Perhaps you could come up with a better name for the plant. Have a good week!

I see this as the same as finding a Four-Leaf Clover, Lui!
It was simply meant for someone very special to find, and that very special someone was you!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful evening!

Five, six or seven fingers - it's a lovely plant. I love the shiny new green leaves in the photos.

So exciting it must to have found 6 Fingers! =) They look quite polished and shining in the sun.. so I think you are doing a very good work, Lui! :) It's like I can see Sweepy go around barking in your Heavenly garden! :)

Thanks for your warm words, both you and Sweepy! :)

Love, Viola :)
and Pusa sends her chin strokes to both of you! ^^)
