A week ago the oppressive heat was making everybody lethargic.
But the weatherman predicted rains and a coming storm!
. . . well, we had rains on some days
but the humidity is still making everybody feel hot
and sleep does not come easy especially for my hounds . . .
But the hot days and sudden rains made the Mandevilla
more prolific and has intruded almost to the front door!
My sister Luchie made it form into an arch to contain it
to no avail . . .
. . . Mandevilla continue to flourish . . .
. . . and after the strong winds and rains last night
the Mandevilla even grew some buds!
. . . and even Yvon, our avocado tree, kept holding on
with this year's supply of avocados
hopefully ready and ripe by July!
. . . and Chicky, the chico tree, remain strong
and still house the many nests of our free flying birds!
. . . and my sis Luchie remain busy in the kitchen
hoping to cook something special
since I am home this weekend.. . .
. . . and I hum and laze around heaven
watching the rest of the hounds
enjoy the cool air and rainy day . . .
. . . on our Sunday together . . .

We've had cloudy days that have helped keep the temperature bearable. A rain would be so refreshing!

beautiful Lui... the weather has been quite inconsistent here... we never know from day to day... the weathermen seem to not get it quite right...well I like surprises, so it's ok:-)

You-wee, my sis Luchie cooked chicken with sweet potatoes, bananas, carrots and vegetables which I love!
Chicken sound great, I like chicken with vegetables and fruits. Just send me an invitation the next time your sister plans the next meal. By the way: I have to take the aircraft to which country...?
