Today's Flowers . . .

Who are you?
Are you a flower
that grows on a hillside?
Catching my eye with a rainbow of colors.
Hopelessly lovely and wild as the moon . . .

You smile and I wonder . . .
who are you?

Are you a statue inside a museum?
Drawing me closer with eyes like the angels.
Unable to love for you're made out of stone . . .

I look in your eyes
and see nothing but mystery.

There's so many things
I've been longing to ask you . . .
Who are you . . . and
what have you done with my heart?

Who are you?
Are you a season, a lifetime, an hour?
Will you be here
when the sky turns to winter?

And if I should love you
will you love me too?

Who are you?

I'm not sure who wrote this but I love the version of Sting.

Orchid from Heaven's garden.
NOTE: This orchid variety was given to us long ago by a dear friend who moved to her province where we later learned she got sick of diabetes. This orchid never bloomed and when it was severely damaged (note the burnt leaves!) when we had our roof repaired, we never knew it would survive and bloom magnificently like it did this morning! Oh, how we wish the same would happen to our dear friend Archie who gave it lovingly to us as a special gift . . .

We used to have something like that in our garden... but we just can't understand why it's no longer there - I guess someone took interest of it.

My Today's Flower post is now up HERE.

These are gorgeous orchids. Thank you for sharing these. And thanks for your comment on my beaver post. That meant a lot to me.
