Today's Flowers!

. . . are mysterious and shy!

They call out to me
even in their youth . . .

They sing songs on a hot day . . .

. . . songs of unbridled hope

. . . of forever love . .

of trusting in destiny . . . and fate!

They whisper joy!
Of an all-consuming passion . . .
of being . . . and becoming . . .

. . . something totally pure and divine!

Red Santan flowers found at the back of the house of Sandhya overlooking the golf course!

And more mysterious flowers can be found at TodaysFlowers!

Love these photos and especially the first shot with the shadows on the flower. Very nicely done.

I used to pick santan and sip the nectar on each tiny flower. Nice shot! Happy Sunday!

santan? In my language santan is coconut milk :)
It's "jejarum" in my language :) I love ixora, they bloom all years! And how I love to suck it's nectars as well :D
