Like a Gumamela . . .

. . . we are all as beautiful as a flower . . .
 . . . that came from the same bud . . .
. . . the same bud that drank the water from the skies
and feed from the heat and energy of the same sun . . .
. . . and will burst forth in time
nurtured by the beauty of what is to come . . .
. . . as timeless as the seeds
that will feed other beautiful beings
who will also burst forth
and whose seed will feed the others
like an unending cycle
we are of the same bud . . .
as timeless and as eternal as this exquisite bud!

Hibiscus flower (we call them Gumamela) from the garden of my student Ignacio. And my tribute again to all those in pain from the recent tragedy in Manila. May we take comfort from each other's pain and may the beauty of this flower (the essence that resides in our individual souls) unite us in our grief and heal our common pain . . .  My macro flower entry for MacroFlowerSaturday.

I told you so, you can take beautiful macros like these here, with your camera.
These hibiscus flowers and photos are exquisite and your kind words are perfect for their beauty.
Have a great weekend!
