My name is Lui. No, I am not dead. My place is called Heaven somewhere in the Philippines. I take care of Heaven and all beings in it. . . And oh, in between this fun and messy task, I do creative work.
Heaven is not just a place but a sense of placement and consciousness
Plants Love to Communicate with People!
And Animals Love to Communicate With Plants!
Some animals love to communicate more than the others and I don't mind!
. . . some animals look like wild beasts but in truth, they have tender hearts and a protective leader! Just watch those paws and fangs!
And one of my beasts is also one of my best hug partners!
Trees are nurturers. They are also such great flirts. And they love a good hug always! So please hug a tree!
. . . and when you hug a tree, you get hugged for life!
People do not really own their land. After all, people are not the only ones who leave their imprints on earth.
In your hand lies the power! To heal, to love, to nurture, to make whole and connect with everything around you!
You can smell the flowers anywhere with your heart! Of course, not unless your heart is clogged!
Sweepy is Gone!

It is with deep sadness to announce the demise of our superdog Sweepy
around 11 am today, January 8.
Please go to my blog for details.
Thank you for being p...
All ideas are creative works that spring from your heart, mind and hands. They help fill your pockets too, to feed you and the others too!
I am largely self-taught
I work with recyclable materials and whatever is handy and available.
My Camera
I use an old hand-me-down Nikon Coolpix since August 2010 and before that I used a borrowed Kodak Easyshare and mobile phones!
I don't mind sharing my photographs but if you use them without informing me, my eyes will haunt your dreams until you do!
Heaven's Wanderers
YellowDogProject
Please respect the special needs of dogs with yellow tied on their leash. Do not approach them especially with your dogs. They need your help and understanding of their need for privacy.
Blast in Peace!
Peace is not the absence of war. Rather, it is the absence of respect and understanding for anything that runs contrary to your beliefs!

The mystery of this plant for me is its actual size. I like the play of light and shadow and the fact that there is nothing to give any idea of scale.
Lui, love your sepia bromeliad! And thank you for your idea of a self portrait in sepia. We'll see what we do on September 8th... :)
Wonderful light and shadows ;-) Peace and blessings
I remember this flower my mom used to love this. Thanks for the visit!
