And I strongly advise you not to disturb him. When my dog Sumo is sleeping, one of his eyes is half open so that a slight movement or sound will get him swiftly on his four paws. He will spring like a fox in a mad rush and nothing is safe within five meters from that. Talk about reacting first and thinking after. Thus, we have 'massacred' newspapers and mails thrown by careless messengers (put bills right along that path!) although fast beings like birds can just as swoop fast to escape those fangs and paws before that black speedo can hurl himself wildly. Of course when this happens I am right behind him in my keeper's naggingOutLoud tone calling him back too late. Ugh. Yesterday when Sumo was taking his nap and I was taking a snap of him :-) he suddenly sprang forward and caught the clueless Sweepy (his pup) coming from the corner possibly from a pee break. That action went too fast for my fingers to capture!
My alpha (leader of something) senior (10yo) dog Sumo for Dragonstar's Black and White Weekend and for Misty Dawn's Camera Critters. Nothing beats black and white than a black and white dog. I rest my case.

Haha.. if I came along, then I better had to go quietly on tiptoe, I see.... ;) But I bet he will watch me as well.. :D Lovely photos! Hugs to you and Sumo and Sweepy! :)
Love these shots.
I always let sleeping dogs lie. :)
...but I am a good beast.
Napagtripan na naman ako ni Lui. Ako lang ang may kayang gawin lahat ng mga iyan kasi asong noypi ako!
Very nice serie, best to be quite.
Great shots of your sleeping dog. I like them both but the first one showing only the paws is my favorite.
Cool shots! Like them!
Lovely shots! I like the floor perspective.
I agree, don't disturb Sumo :)

I really love the first shot.. seems so innocent, just that pair of paws. lol
I just saw that also Bogart died this spring. So sorry to hear that. He died in April, and my Asterix in May. But both had a great life, I know that in my heart!
Lovely photos of your Sumo! Like those closeups from the floor perspective!
Take care!
