A Weekend of Passion

. . . of Passion flowers, that is. I chanced upon this bloom on a short walking tour with some kids. I pointed this flower to them but they do not seem interested. They are more interested with the okra plants and bees and dragonflies! I pointed out the ants crawling across the flower stem and practically feasting on the flower itself! But the little ones were tugging at my pants impatiently to urge me to move on to other more exciting stuff. Obviously, not everybody is into passion. Not even the flowery kind . . .

My passionate bloom for Maia's Macro Flower and for the TodaysFlower team Luz, Denise, Laerte and Sandy. Have a passion filled weekend everyone! . . .AND I have to add this: my take for Amy's Color Splash Sunday:

I love it. I would have stopped to admire it also. It is wonderful that the kids have you to show them nature. In the future they will appreciate their time with you.

Beautiful, I would not have been able to pass by this flower without stopping for photos. Your macro shots are gorgeous and I love the last one.

These are just stunning...you asked about the ducks in my post. The mallards and other ducks and geese go as far as to find open water. We are near 2 great lakes and a river. Some of the mallards stop at my bird feeders in the snow as I put out cracked corn for them......Michelle in western New York State
