Beauty at the Mall!

"The events in our lives
happen in a sequence in time,
but in their significance to ourselves,
they find their own order. . . .
the continuous thread of revelation."
- Eudora Welty

I know the name of this flower yet it escapes my memory at the moment. Its like I lost the thread of meaning and memory when so many things are happening at the same time. Like an overloaded database, the mind blinks, the memory bank closes and goes on a holiday . . .

"Every blade of grass has its Angel
that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow.'"
- The Talmud

. . . but yes, it is a beautiful flower and quite a popular plant seen along the borders of commercial centers like the mall. This one I shot at the Alabang Town Center entrance while waiting for the car that would pick me up. It is pretty subtle among the greens yet in its pristine beauty, it made my waiting moments a joy and an inspiration all week. . .

For my friends Maia at MacroFlowerSaturday and the TodaysFlowers team of Luiz Santilli, Laerte Pupo, Sandy Carlson and sweet Denise G. Happy Birthday Denise! ;-)
