Yes, her name is Brooke.
Every time she comes out I feature her!
She starts out like a long cluster of small buds.
My dog Sweepy passes her by
oblivious to her shrill singing!
She calls out to every one . . . 
But the weather is too hot
and everybody is too busy
to stop and listen and pay attention . . .
Even if Brooke does it in duet
. . . all of Heaven is completely gone . . .
This week we are having a full blast of hot dry spell
which makes everybody tired, sickly
and yes, too distracted to notice MsBrooke
one of our lovely orchids in Heaven.

i'm glad that Ms Brooke remains fresh despite the scorching weather we're having. i didn't you could grow this orchid from a pot...it has totally swallowed a tree in my aunt's yard.

It's warm there I believe.. here it's more cool, I should try and send you some cool air, to blend with the hot air you're having..
What a beautiful Orchidé. I have one plant in our flat, which I'm proud of.. I was not before, as I thought it would die.. but after I started to give it water twice a week (normally is once a week), it has got several buds.. 10 buds, pluss 2 tiny small.. and once a week I give it natural fertilizer, not a very good smell, but good for the plant, and then I'm far too happy :)
