Today's Flowers

It's been a very busy week. And with all the events bringing some happy news, some sad and tragic . . . and the flowers that greet you at the end of the road makes you pause, takes you to another dimension, another plane, another time, when people are kinder, more loving and responsible caretakers of nature and their communities . . .

. . . where flowers grow beautifully even if they seem neglected and in unexpected places (this Bougainvilla is growing at the edge of the railroad tracks!) . . . and they thrive simply because the real caretaker, the Creator is always watching and probably making sure His wonderful creations survive the heat, the dust, the careless people . . .

I will not be surprised if this flower survive the storms and other calamities because I always find them in the same spot, thriving beautifully, in sunny and rainy weather! And when I see them I knew that if this thin, wispy flower can survive, why can't we? . . . More flowers at TodaysFlowers!

This is a first for me, Lui...i've never seen a white bougainvilla before, the delicate looking petals is such a contrast for its hardiness.

Your words today spoke to my heart and soul. Thank you. The white bougainvilla is soft and yet hardy looking. Nice job.

Beautiful Bougainvilla, I've never seen them in white before. Amazing you found it by the rail road tracks!
