Mushy Kingdom After The Rain . . .

This is what I saw when I took my regular visit in our garden.
I found them perched on an old recycled wood that housed our orchids.

They look like tiny villages with an umbrella-shaped white roof.
My dogs barked at them and I looked closer.
"Anybody home?"
When the sun came out
the edges started to dry
and I knew it will be gone soon . . .

. . . so I said my goodbyes before it does . . .

. . . and true enough, when I returned in the afternoon, they were all gone!

These small mushrooms are not edible, I think. Otherwise, I would gather them and saute them with butter. Ha! They love to grow on old dead wood (trimmings from our tree) which are recycled around Heaven into many uses: plant holder, fences to protect other plants from playful and clumsy dogs, as mini benches and as shelter for many other beings like mushrooms, ants and spiders! This is my mushy story for Lisa's MacroMonday and Michelle's NatureNotes.

What pretty little mushrooms Lui. I'm glad you put your finger in the last shot as I would have had no idea they were that small. Isn't nature wonderful? And so are your photographs :) Have a great week Lui.

They are so tiny! We had some small ones appear on the trunks of some trees and they were gone a short bit later as well. How odd.

You got wonderful shots of them! Especially love the first one!
