I'm sorry but I do not know the name of this flower! It looks like a Santan flower but there is something about it that is so not Santan. Maybe because of its pink color. The Santan flowers I see are either red, yellow or orangey but never this pink. But then I'm not exactly a flower expert so I'll never really know. But if you think about it, the scientific names and the names of plants and the things we see around us, were done by somebody who stumbled into it first. So if I stumble on something so alien then I would have the privilege of naming it whatever comes to my fancy. Like, for example, this pink beauty I would call it "flirticacious" or even "pinkamaligna" or name the flowers after people who reminds me of them. In that case, I will call this flower Malinda. Oh Malinda, wherever you are now, I hope you remain as lovely and hopefully, less flirty. Haha! . . . My pretty in pink bloom I met outside of Heaven I am sharing with friends at Maia's Macro Flower Saturday and for Todays Flowers on Sunday hosted by Luiz, Denise, Pupo and Sandy. May your weekend be as frilly, flirty, frivolously fink! And oh, before I forget, happy birthday to my nephew and godson Daryl!!! Your fairy godmother wishes you all the best! And tomorrow I will enjoy our feast. . .Cheers!

I'm glad to see you are in such a good mood today, I hope it is catchy.
Your little pink flower is very pretty and think "flirticacious" would be a good name for it.
Anyway, who cares about the name?
Humans' most important sense is sight. Just give it a good title to feed the all mighty G.. crawler, as it is blind.
Lovely shots!
Happy Birthday to Daryl!
You are just too cute, gal. I do not know the botanical names of the flowers, either. I just call them by the name that usually goes with them. And about HEAVEN ....all of the blogs I follow from the Philippines makes me age that your someplace is Heaven on Earth. I tis such a shame you all are so far to fly to....my back would not let me do it...but I can dream. I love the way the palm of your hand and your fingers have the pink cast to the, too. Thanks for our visit and PLEASE come back. I adore looking at photos from your part of the world.
XOXOXO Genie
Those are wonderful pics... Love the pink color!! Very beautiful...
Have a great weekend:)

These are so special. You always display such fascinating shots. Love the colors.
Keeper, I saw Malinda at Bonifacio. She owns a gorgeous dog who almost peed on my tail!
Ugh! another word verification!
My word: peskydoggy
Will somebody exempt dogs from this dilemma!
Story of our lives, I just know the flower is beautiful, and then learn the names later. Smiles. Pretty and dainty.
Congratulations on being guest friend for Today's Flowers #119! You have a lovely flower today and I think it is called Panama Rose (Bush Penta or Rondeletia leucophylla). If it is, then it should have fragrance and attract the butterflies.
I don't know it's name, but it sure is pretty!
Linda e delicada esta flor!
Fascinating and unusual photos.
Love 'em!

Pretty little blooms! "Flirticacious"...I like that!!
now i wonder who Malinda is.:p
this is not a santan--the leaf is different. but there is a pink santan, my grandmother had it in her garden when i was a kid. this is a lovely shade of pink, and yes, flirty.:p
So very very pretty, and tiny!
Lovely flowers by any name and your flowers as guest host on today's flowers are also beautiful. Great shots.
What a lovely color :)
Congratulations for being the guest friend at Today's Flowers.
Lovely shots in both places.
Hey all! It was so sudden to be a guest friend at TF today but I saw that Luiz has no GF@TF so I came to his rescue! ;-)
And AutumnBelle is right. The name of this flower is Panama Rose! Unfortunately, I did not smell any fragrant whiff of it :-(
Olá, Lui!
Esta flor é bem mimosa e o conjunto com seus mini-buquês formam um belo arranjo, mesmo não sabendo o seu nome fico encantada com a magia de sua graciosidade.
Feliz semana!
Beautiful, bright, tiny flowers - very pretty. They remind me of verbena, but I don't know whether they are.
Lovely!

Nice shots, I like your macro below in Black and White too of the fungi. Thanks for sharing:)
Creative pictures! :0)
I think I have the same flower growing in my yard. I'll have to smell it to see if it is fragrant or not. Congrats on being Guest Friend. I believe the top one you showed there is tithonia, and of course the bottom one is a marigold.
I love the bright orange and bright yellow flowers on Today's Flowers you posted as guest host. They're very cheery on these cold November days.
These little pink flowers are jsut adorable. I really like that hot pink color.
Thanks for popping by...and thank you for your comment. I´m so sorry for putting up the wrong link - of cause I was convinced that I did put up the right link to my post for Todays Flowers. It was a bad mistake and of cause I didn´t do it on purpose. I hope you found my post for Today´s Flower. Please forgive me.
I don´t know the name, but I know it´s beautiful. Lovely photos.
