Meet Dragonpie!

Ahhh, there he is! As bright and fiery as the hot sunny day. He landed right smack where I was conversing with Mr. Fly! Sumo and Sweepy were right behind me and Catsky (Rainbow Avenue's resident roaming cat) lounging on the roof, while I swept the fallen leaves of our flowering avocado tree Yvon and our older chico tree Chicky . . .

Hmmm, navigating the long line to nowhere!

Dragonpie having a chat with MrFly!

They could be best buddies . . .

Dragonpie could not contain his excitement. After all, I was reminding everybeing to brace themselves for extreme weather conditions (rainy, sunny hot, humid nights, floods, etc.) since we had a week of erratic weather. Monday rains, sunny hot Tuesday, windy Wednesday, rainy Thursday, hot Friday, rainy Saturday, and sunny Sunday. Today, it was pretty hot. The weather bureau predicted rains on a summer month! But Dragonpie could not care less. After all, in Heaven, everybeing feels safe. And I just hope and pray that they are all right!

This special macro for Lisa's of MACRO MONDAY.

And for another Lisa of The Creative Exchange:

. . . this dragon does not slay anybeing
nor does he have any enemy.
His only wish is to find a safe place
with cleaner air and food for sustenance . . .

And for Amy of Color Splash Sunday
who adores bokeh:

Hey, I won last week at Amy's CSS!
Wow, I never knew I can win simply
by sharing my photographs and stories!

Insects make great macros, but still I don't like them, yikes ! I prefer fury friends !

Love your words, your sense of humor. You name your trees! I love that. I think the dragonfly in silhouette is my favorite - such a unique shot. Thank you. The bottom one is amazing with b&w in the background. Wow.

So nice to meet you, Dragonpie. I'd love to have a comparable shot, but they don't land long at my house!

Hi Lui, sorry I am so late in visiting your CSS this week!

Yay for more bokeh! It's just gorgeous. And I love the colors of the wings in your selective coloring photos.
