Hoya!

It is quite a hectic month and I do not want to miss some challenges especially with so many generous hosts trying to keep up with the weekly schedule and some who simply took a break and some who quit for good. Sigh.

Motion, Animal Perspective, Macro, SOOC
I am offering my Hoya plant as an inspiration for everybody to just hang on, to take the pressures with grace and, believe it or not, this "4" year (year 2011 when added together is 4) would be remembered as the period where you realized important truths for you to enjoy a happy fulfilling 5 next year. (Just count the numbers to know what is the number vibration for the year and to get your personal year just add your birth day and month to the current year. It should be added until you get a single digit from 1 to 9) . . .

And our sturdy and joyful Hoya, surviving the sunny hot and rainy hot weather and dry windy afternoons (this will come to pass, believe me) is perfect for most of the photo challenges this week: for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday looking for themes like Motion, Waiting to Click, In Fashion, Animal Perspective (I showed Spiderpie's perspective of Hoya with my dog Sumo in motion above!), and Many. Also for Lisa's Macro Monday and Jan's SOOC. These are mostly SOOC shots, Jan!

From these small buds will bloom the most exquisite and dainty but sturdy flowers that will last for 3 days! And there are "many" such buds waiting to bloom!

And of course, Hoya is always 'in fashion.'

. . . and 'waiting to click' and enthrall!

And for Lisa of The Creative Exchange:

In numerology the number 4 is viewed as a box which people equate like being 'boxed' or living in a phase with limited movements. People love the saying "think outside of the box" in equating creative thinking to be in a state where you get out of the confines and pressures of limitations or restrictions instead of learning to "master" the box (live inside the box to master the box!) or living WITHOUT a box (mastering pressures and challenges by thinking of ideas instead of limitations) and simply, by looking at all angles of a situation to know and understand ourselves and thus harness our creative process to live in harmony with nature and with the throbbing energy around us.

And for Allie's Happy Monday
and her theme this week is 'April Showers'

. . . is our Firespike plant in deep violet
embracing the cool sudden showers!
The perfect mantra for the changing times.

I have one of these here at home Lui! It belonged to my Mom, and now I have it. I am guessing it it at least 15 years old at this point and still so very beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a beautiful evening
