Desert Rose Up Close and Personal

"Nobody sees a flower really
it is so small it takes time
we haven't time
and to see takes time
like to have a friend takes time."
- Georgia O'Keeffe

This is a macro shot of our Desert Rose blooming wildly in the rain.

When I saw this flower in our neighborhood, I told my sister Luchie that I wanted one for our house Heaven and Luchie immediately got one. And it bloomed in high heat, raging storms, and clumsy dogs who sniff a lot: the major criteria to survive Heaven. I told my sister Luchie that this year is Year 5 for her (you get that by adding your birthday and birth month to the current year: November 26: 11 + 26 + 2011 = 2048 = 14 = 5). Year 5 is the best time to go after the things that you want! And Luchie took that opportunity to seek the things that she wanted and longed for and realize her wildest dreams NOW. These are very pretty. I like your words too and how you watched the life of this flower. Such love you have inside. I feel blessed right now being here in Heaven.

Hi Lui, it's such a good feeling to achieve a dream, I'm happy for Luchie too. Beautiful photos of an incredible flower and a nice Oscar Wilde quote too. Have a great weekend my friend.
