Dreamy Landscape . . .

My landscape this week is pale, subtle, and somewhat dreamy . . .
. . . during the day the stars come out in greeting . . .
. . . and at night it seem to beckon to new pathways . . .

At high noon the sun seem to burn right through my very soul!
Yet the following high noon it soaked me to the bone!
I knew I should learn to go with the flow.
I knew that this whole melodrama unfolding before me
is both a mystery and a discovery
that can be vague, scary, hauntingly ecstatic,
and if I calm myself enough to soak the experience
is really a wonderful blessing
in all its magical delight!
 Oh, fear not!
I always tell people, animals, plants . . .
the rocks, the bees, the ants, my lone dog,
my wildly beating heart . . .

Fear not the beauty,
and the magic,
and the changes,
and the newness of things,
because if you fear not,
fear will be replaced by wonder
and wonder makes things alright.
Isn't it, Lily?
The beauty is unfolding before our eyes
in spurts, in small seeds, in subtle rainbows,
and drenching heat and rain!
But let go and bask in all of it!
And the whole spectacle will be one of bliss . . .
