While friends and family in other countries are celebrating spring
we are celebrating summer in sweltering 35 degrees heat!
But it does not matter.
We all need some warmth in our lives . . .
This unknown beauty of a flower blooms in February.
It reminds me of happy memories with Feb people:
my Papa, my Tito Sario, my Lola Fina, my niece Steph,
my brother Jojo, and my own birthday
that always carry special gifts and blessings . . .
. . . much like that wonderful umber-colored pup
that is slowly making Heaven his home . . .
Hughes has now embraced the extra kennel as his own
where he can hie in and out as he pleases . . .
. . . and explore all of Heaven's wonderful scents
. . . and sounds
. . . and laze the time away
with a superdog . . .
. . . who has embraced him as his own.
And shared everything generously with him . . .
Heaven welcomed Hughes into its belly . . .
Luchie and I have stopped asking ourselves
if we can afford to adopt another dog.
We have stopped asking ourselves difficult questions.
We just throw them in the wind . . .
and embrace what life has to offer.
Because
there is so much throbbing beauty in Heaven right now . . .
Our hoya is blooming and fading and blooming non-stop
while our senior dog continue to be super
and funny and loving and heartwarming . . .
. . . so many remarkable moments . . .
so many mysteries that heal and inspire . . .
. . . and so many echoes, and voices
and scents and magical hour . . .
Luchie's poinsettia is blooming in summer!
. . . even in blistering heat.
I come home exhausted
and prayed for rains.
And what do you know
it rained this week!

Bless the loving hearts in Heaven :) Hugs to all of you my friend :)))
Heaven sure looks beautiful, Lui. All of those wonderful colors! Yes, it is supposed to be spring here now, but it is still so very cold, and a very large snowstorm is forecast for some parts of the U.S. this week. I hope it somehow passes us by.
My Big Handsome Boy sure looks like he is enjoying having a new friend. I am sure that Hughes being there, is good for both of them. Bless both you and Luchie.
My poinsettia has been blooming since October of last year. Very strange, but no complaints.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and wish you a beautiful week ahead, dear friend. xo
