SHS

In Disguise

This is temptation disguise as a harmless thing. But it is actually . . .

Food

It is called Masachi. I don't know what it is made of but it looks like sticky rice balls rolled in crispy coconut flakes and stuffed with sweet gooey something that is worth every bite. And 3 pieces cost only a dollar!

Shape

Killer heels and killer design. Perfect for my killer black dress.

Purple

I love, love, love the color and meticulous stitching of this one!

Photographer's Choice

This is an unedited scene in one of my workshop sessions on site with my special student Samir (with autism) who suddenly stopped and pointed it to me! I was ecstatic. First I love flowers and I already admired the gardens but when my student pointed his fingers at this vase full of orchids for me I stopped and took a quick shot and forgot all about it until I was posting this. Samir's recognition of my fascination for flowers is an indication of his capability to reach out and communicate and it resonates with his new found ability to recognize me (he greets me now and makes eye contact) and enjoy doing art with me. A real blessing indeed!
