Rosal

My sister Luchie refer to this as Rosal.
I found out that it is also called Gardenia.
We lost our Rosal plant months ago and in its stead we had the Camia plant which I featured last week. Both are white, velvety and fragrant.
But alas, this one is fading as I waited for someone along the curb . . .
It curled its petals as the sun sets in the distance . . .
. . . and one faded as the last light hits my curb
and I stayed to wait some more. . . .

Beautiful flowers, even when they fade.
We have gardenias only as houseplants and they are quite difficult to handle.
Have a great weekend Lui!

I love gardenias. The local ones have finished flowering. I few weeks ago you could go for a walk and locate them by scent before you saw them.

One of my favorites too. I find them a little tough to grow around here but keep trying.
